Health care providers can improve outcomes for patients by using digital monitoring tools that help prevent hospitalizations, said Alexis Normand, Head of B2B Digital Health at Nokia

Normand, whose company Nokia supplies digital scales that monitor signs of worsening congestive heart failure, said collecting data from digital health devices early can influence the best line of care.

“Another area where digital health can help, is to shift the focus from cure to care,” said Normand, who was a speaker at the Center for Connected Medicine’s Top of Mind for Top U.S. Health Systems 2018 Summit.

In an interview during the Top of Mind 2018 Summit, Normand explained the efficiencies that digital health solutions can create for providers. Watch the video above for more highlights from the interview.
