Deneen Vojta, MD

Deneen Vojta, MD, is President of the Arctos Foundation and member of the boards of directors at Hikma Pharmaceuticals, Sensei Bio, and Canary Medical.
Dr. Vojta previously served as Executive Vice President of Research and Development for UnitedHealth Group, and she was the President of Health Solutions and Innovation for TurningPoint Solutions. In this role, Dr. Vojta was responsible for overseeing corporate strategy and driving growth through continued product development.
Dr. Vojta brings vast experience as an entrepreneur and strategic thinker in the health care industry. She has a successful track record of accelerating the design, execution, and scaling of disruptive programs, products, and services and has built multiple businesses with successful exits.
Dr. Vojta began her career at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) where she was a resident in Pediatrics and a fellow in Hematology & Oncology. Subsequently, she launched a CHOP’s pediatric hospitalist program. Dr. Vojta joined UnitedHealth Group in 2006 as the Executive Vice President of R&D after the company acquired MYnetico, a digital disease management company that she founded and served as CEO.
Dr. Vojta holds an MD from Temple University School of Medicine, and a BS in Behavioral Neuroscience from University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Vojta has received several major industry awards, including being named one of Modern Healthcare’s Top 25 Innovators, a CES Innovation Design and Engineering Innovation Honoree, and receiving an Emmy Award in 2014.
