David Moore

Executive vice president, Corporate Development • Novo Nordisk

Mr. Moore first joined Novo Nordisk as head of Sales and Marketing in Novo Nordisk Inc, US in 2017. Mr. Moore was promoted senior vice president, Commercial at Novo Nordisk Inc, US, in 2017 and left the company in 2019. In 2022, Mr. Moore re-joined Novo Nordisk as senior vice president of Corporate Development with responsibility for driving corporate strategy activities as well as all business development and M&A in Novo Nordisk. Mr. Moore was promoted executive vice president of Corporate Development in March 2023.

Mr. Moore holds broad experience in strategy, commercial, market access, business development and investing from working in both large cap pharmaceutical companies, biotech companies and within private equity. Prior to first joining Novo Nordisk, Mr. Moore was president and chief commercial officer of Cempra Pharmaceuticals. Before joining Novo Nordisk in 2022, Mr. Moore was an investment partner at Gurnet Point Capital, a life science focused private equity firm.  Mr. Moore began his career at Johnson & Johnson, where he spent 14 years in roles of increasing responsibility.  Mr. Moore serves as a member of the board of directors of Naveris Inc., Radius Health Inc. and Novasenta Inc.
