Frist, MD, and focused on the sustainability, value, and measurement of telehealth. The executives came together to raise needs, share progress, and engage in a candid discussion about where telehealth is headed in the year after a surge in utilization related to the COVID-19 pandemic. The executives who participated in the roundtable started and ended by emphasizing the opportunities of the moment. The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on health care culture and the utilization of technology — particularly virtual care — is unprecedented. Participants resoundingly acknowledged the need for research and data analysis and agreed that the industry faces an opportunity to evolve standards of care.
