Chief Operating Officer, Specialty Based Care • Intermountain Healthcare

Jim Sheets sets the vision and strategy for Outreach Services across Intermountain Healthcare. His accountabilities include strategic development, outreach services, telehealth, LifeFlight, and the Intermountain Transfer Center. Jim also provides strategic consultation to Intermountain business divisions and collaborates closely with all clinical programs and care groups across the organization.

Jim spent 10 years at LDS Hospital as an Operations Officer and then CEO/Administrator before moving to his system role in Outreach. Prior to joining Intermountain, Jim held leadership positions for nearly a decade at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix and Enloe Medical Center in Chico, California.

Jim earned both Master of Healthcare Administration and Master of Business Administration degrees from the University of Minnesota and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from the University of Utah.
