About the Partners
The Center for Connected Medicine is a collaboration of the world’s most forward-looking health care and technology organizations in the world. These visionaries are committed to exploring the potential of connected medicine, and providing the leadership necessary to help health care address the challenges of access, quality and cost. Based in Pittsburgh, the Center opened its doors in September 2009 and is comprised of five founding partners: Alcatel-Lucent, GE, IBM, UPMC, and Verizon and ten strategic partners representing global leaders in health care.
